Help & FAQ

Everything about the assessment, your results, teams & organizations, and your account.

Getting started

New to DISC? Start here for the basics on what the assessment is and how to take it.

What is DISC?
DISC is a simple framework that describes four ways people tend to show up at work: D (Direct / results-driven), I (Influencing / people-energized), S (Steady / supportive), and C (Cautious / analytical). Everyone is a mix of all four — your DISC profile shows which styles you lean on most.
How long does the assessment take?
About 10 minutes. There are 24 short questions and each one takes only a few seconds.
Do I need an account to take it?
No. You can take the assessment anonymously from the Start page. Creating an account lets you save your result, retake it later, and join teams.
What devices does it work on?
Phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop. There's no app to install — it runs in any modern browser.
Is it free?
Yes, the individual assessment is free. Team and organization features are managed by your organization owner.

Taking the assessment

How does the 'most / least like me' format work?
Each question shows four short statements. Pick the one that's most like you, then the one that's least like you. The two in the middle are neither — just leave them alone.
Can I pause and come back later?
Yes. Your progress is saved automatically in your browser. If you create an account or use the same device, you can pick up where you left off.
What if I rush or answer randomly?
The assessment quietly checks the quality of your answers. If responses look inconsistent, we'll nudge you to slow down. For the most useful result, answer based on how you actually behave at work — not how you wish you behaved.
Can I retake the assessment?
Yes. You can retake it any time. Your most recent result is the one shown on your profile.
Are there right or wrong answers?
No. There's no good or bad style — each one has strengths and blind spots. The point is self-awareness, not scoring.

Understanding your results

Your report includes a primary style, a possible secondary blend, and how you adapt under pressure.

What do D, I, S, and C mean?
D — Direct: decisive, fast, results-focused.
I — Influencing: outgoing, optimistic, people-energized.
S — Steady: patient, dependable, harmony-seeking.
C — Cautious: precise, analytical, quality-focused.
What's a primary and secondary style?
Your primary style is the trait that scored highest. If a neighboring style also scored highly, you get a 'blend' (e.g. DI or SC). Opposite traits (D+S or I+C) don't blend — those reports stay pure.
What's the difference between natural and adapted style?
Natural is how you behave when you're relaxed and being yourself. Adapted is how you behave when you sense the situation demands something different — like turning up your D in a crisis or your S in a calm meeting.
What does the priorities wheel show?
It maps your top 3–5 priorities (Results, Action, Enthusiasm, Collaboration, Support, Stability, Accuracy, Challenge) onto a circle. It's a quick way to see what motivates you.
How do I read the team wheel?
Each teammate is plotted as a dot on the DISC wheel. Clusters show where your team's energy concentrates; empty quadrants show gaps to be aware of.
Can I download my report as a PDF?
Yes. On your results page, use the download menu to grab a clean PDF — great for sharing with a manager or coach.

Teams & organizations

How accounts, organizations, groups, and teams fit together.

What's the difference between an organization, a group, and a team?
Organization is the top-level container (your company). Groups are optional folders inside an org (e.g. departments). Teams are the working units where people actually take assessments together.
Who can create a team?
Organization owners and co-owners can create, rename, and delete teams inside their own organization. Individual users can't create standalone teams — they need to belong to an org first.
How do team invites work?
Each team has a short join code and a shareable link. New members go to the join page, enter the code (or follow the link), and they're added. Owners can also email invitations directly.
How do I rename or delete a team?
Open the team, then go to Team settings. Owners see options to rename, transfer ownership, or delete. Non-owners see a 'Leave team' option instead.
What are org owners, co-owners, and admins?
Owners and co-owners have full control of an organization — they can rename it, invite more owners, manage groups, and create teams. Admins can manage day-to-day but can't change ownership. Only super-admins can delete an organization.
How do organization email invitations work?
Org owners send an email invite to a new co-owner or admin. The recipient clicks the link, signs in (or signs up) with the matching email, and is added automatically.
How do I get an organization?
Organizations are set up by our team. If your company wants one, get in touch and we'll create the org and invite the first owner.

Your account & profile

How do I sign in?
From any page, use the Sign in link. You can sign in with email + password or with Google.
How do I reset my password?
On the sign-in page, choose 'Forgot password'. We'll email you a reset link. The link is single-use and expires after a short time.
How do I update my name or email?
Open your Profile page from the workspace nav. You can edit your display name there. Email changes require confirming the new address.
Where do I find my own DISC result?
Your Profile page shows your most recent result, your primary/secondary style, and a link to the full report.
Where do I see the teams I'm in?
Your Profile page lists every team you belong to, with a link into each one.
How do I sign out?
Sign out from your Profile page. On a shared device, always sign out when you're done.

Privacy & data

Who can see my results?
Only you, and the owners of any team you've explicitly joined. We never sell or share individual results with third parties.
Can I export or download my report?
Yes — from your results page, use the download menu. The PDF is yours to keep or share.
How do I delete my account or data?
Use the contact form from the address tied to your account and we'll delete your data.
Where is my data stored?
Securely in our backend, with encrypted connections and row-level access controls. Only people on teams you've joined can see your participation.

Troubleshooting

I didn't receive my invite email.
Check spam and promotions. If it's still missing, ask the sender to resend the invite from the team or organization page — every invite has a 'Resend' button. Some corporate mail filters strip transactional links; using a personal email often fixes it.
The assessment won't load or my progress is gone.
Refresh the page. If progress was saved on a different device or in a private/incognito window, it won't be available here. Signing in before you start keeps your progress synced across devices.
My team join code isn't working.
Codes are case-insensitive but must be entered exactly. Make sure the team is still active — owners can deactivate codes. If you copy-pasted, watch for stray spaces at the end.
My report PDF won't download.
Try a different browser (Chrome or Safari work best). If you're on a corporate network, downloads may be blocked — try a personal device. The PDF generates client-side, so it can take a few seconds on slower phones.
I'm seeing the wrong organization or team.
Sign out and back in to refresh your session. If you were added to a new org, you may need to accept the email invite from your inbox first.
